Freddy the fox was known as the cleverest animal in the forest. He could solve any problem!
One winter day, the animals were hungry. The snow covered everything, and they couldn't find food.
"We need help!" said the rabbit.
Freddy thought for a moment. "I have an idea!" he said.
He led the animals to a big oak tree. Under the tree, there were lots of acorns hidden under the snow.
"How did you know?" asked the rabbit.
Freddy smiled. "I buried them last autumn. I always plan ahead!"
The animals ate the acorns and were happy. They thanked Freddy for being so clever.
"Remember," said Freddy, "it's good to think ahead and save for later."
From that day, all the animals started saving food for winter too.
